OUR
HISTORY AND PASSION
We
opened our doors in 2004 in Milwaukee’s premier neighborhood
of Bay View offering a beautiful place down on Delaware Street
to get your hair done.
Today in addition to our salon services,
we have expanded our business to include Sweeney Todd Fair Trade
World Bazaar, offering you art, jewelry, pottery, tapestries,
handbags along with boutique and gallery items.
Our passion is to help talented
and economically disadvantaged artisans and farmers worldwide.
Specifically we link low-income producers with consumer markets,
which in turn supports living wages and safe working conditions
for workers in the developing world.
We offer many high quality hand-produced items at all price points.
Direct benefits to the artisans and farmers are:
~ Improved standard of living
~ Safe working conditions
~ Dignity and independence
~ Sustained cultural identity
It is our hope that through us you
can begin to know the artisans whose lives you change by purchasing
our fair trade items. We are in proud collaboration with Trails
to Bridges, wholesaler of fair trade items and Help a Friend
In Need Inc.
